To his amazement, young Ned is unexpectedly appointed as a page boy for the egotistical Emperor. He is immediately caught up on the empire's escapades and witnesses the royally ridiculous operations of the kingdom's kooky court. The painfully pompous staff is soon fooled by two treacherous tailors who con everyone into believing their "invisible" cloth has the magical power to be seen only by those fit for their jobs.
